Buffalo “Wild, Wild, West”Chicken Wings Recipe
Ah, buffalo chicken wings, a food that can be ate under any circumstance, anytime, anyplace. Well, almost anywhere. Wings are a food that bring me physical joy when I eat them (I’m only half kidding). Plus, if I am going to break my New Year’s resolution on any dish, it will be the wings this Sunday. There is also the added bonus that buffalo wings are quick and easy to make, great finger food, and great starter food to kick off the first quarter of the game with! The noteworthy recipe comes from the Food Network and will take you through step-by-step instructions, simple enough for any aspiring cook or game lover.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 2 pounds chicken wings, split at the joint, wingtips removed and discarded
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup hot sauce, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese, such as Maytag (about 3 ounces)

Did someone say nachos?! There is no denying that nachos are a great snack. Not only are they delicious and easy to make, but they tend to fill you up very quick. They are a great appetizer to snack on during and even after the game! With that in mind, check out this tasty and delicious recipe from the Food Network for loaded nachos.

- Corn tortilla chips
- 4 vine ripe tomatoes seeded and chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper seeded and finely chopped, for medium to hot heat level
