Sharp Superheated Steam Countertop Oven in a modern kitchen.

Hello Betty Editor Jaclyn Dryden shares her experience with a Sharp Superheated Steam Countertop Oven and how it has changed the way she thinks about cooking with steam. Read part of the feature below!

“So I must admit that I do love cooking, but my husband does as well. We both love to be in the kitchen trying new things or making our favorite dishes. Over the past couple of weeks I was able to check out the  Superheated Steam Countertop Oven and boy I must admit that we both fell in love with not only the convenience of the oven but how it worked in general.

For me, the number one seller is that you don’t have to wait for preheating at all, cutting down on time waiting for dinner and I have found that you actually cut the total time in half because of the superheated steam. No preheating and instantly on  the oven combines superheated steam (up to 485 degrees vs. others at 212 degrees) and conventional, radiant heat. The combination keeps food crispy (yes… even bacon gets crispy!) and browned on the outside and juicy and delicious on the inside. The dishes that we tried out in this oven came out restaurant quality with minimal effort. Which is awesome! (we have many recipes coming)
The one thing that I was worried about when it comes to the SuperHeated Steam Oven is that it would just be too small, but it’s not! We are able to make everything our little hearts desire. The 12.5”x12.5” broiling pan and crisper tray gives users more cooking area than a standard quarter-size sheet pan (9 slices of  toast or a pizza for a visual).

Since there is no preheat time, you actually can go straight from the freezer to the oven, again saving you time, which is huge this holiday season. I must say that when I left on Saturday for Deleware, I do wish I would have brought it with me because this baby is a must when trying to cook dinner, lunches, or breakfast quickly. As we are running back and forth to the hospital, this would have really come in handy.

Another huge advantage to using this countertop oven is the ability to clean it up in a breeze! Simply swipe a clean cloth across the inside and outside, and you’re good for the next cooking session. Less time scrubbing and soaking means more time enjoying whatever you’d rather be doing (like that glass of well-deserved wine). My husband totally Diggs this part.”
