Check out this article featuring Sharp’s new built-in kitchen appliances and advanced technology.
The full line of appliances, which will be available by 2020, is designed to be a sleek and technologically advanced option for designers.

This just in—Japanese electronics company Sharp is set to launch its first full suite of built-in kitchen products. The offerings, which will provide interior designers with more kitchen remodel options, are designed to be both sleek and technologically advanced.
The kitchen suite, which Sharp says is a seamless, full-kitchen solution for consumers, includes SuperSteam Ovens, Induction Cooktops, Wall Ovens, Slide-in Range, Microwave Drawers, and Over-the-Range Microwave Ovens. In addition to these products, the company will offer dishwashers and refrigerators.
“For those curating new kitchens in their homes, from a cosmetic standpoint, it’s a unique and different look,” Peter Weedfald, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Sharp, tells AD PRO. With the collection’s continental design aesthetic and black edge-to-edge glass, the company will likely achieve its goal of impressing designers, architects, and builders.
Sharp’s new products are also technologically advanced. The Sharp 24-inch IoT SuperSteam Built-In Oven and the Sharp 24-inch IoT Microwave Drawer are IoT-enabled to integrate with smart home devices. There’s also another tech-driven feature: “The app, Powered by SideChef, lets you browse for a recipe and send the instructions to the oven,” Weedfald explains—an option that may appeal to clients who are experienced chefs as well as those who are new to the kitchen. The SVP goes on to note that the United States is a market that still doesn’t tend to cook much with steam. However, he says, Sharp is aiming to help change that fact.
