This preset button was specifically tuned to achieve optimal popping results, creating the perfect popcorn experience every time, certified from the popcorn experts at Orville Redenbacher’s.
It’s no secret that we love popcorn – in fact we’d have to list it as one of our all time favorite snacks. One of our favorite things about this snack are all the different ways it can be enjoyed! Our friends at Orville Redenbacher’s have also compiled some amazing recipes to elevate the average bag of popcorn. We can’t wait to try these favorites using the brand new Orville Redenbacher’s certified Carousel Microwave – now available in stores.
Marshmallow and Chocolate Popcorn Bars
These bars combine the saltiness of popcorn with the sweetness of chocolate and marshmallows, perfect for those days when we can’t decide between something savory or something sweet. Bonus – these are only 100 calories so we can snack on them guilt free! Prepare microwave popcorn according to directions in your Sharp Carousel and set aside. Combine marshmallows and butter in a separate bowl and microwave until melted. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and stir with a spatula until all the popcorn is coated. Stir in your favorite chocolate candies and transfer the entire mixture to a baking pan. Let cool completely before cutting and enjoy!
Asian-Style Popcorn Crusted Chicken
Popcorn for dinner? Sounds good to us! We love the way this recipe turns our favorite snack into a complete entree. Microwave popcorn as instructed and then crush into small pieces and combine with chopped dry roasted peanuts. Season chicken with salt and pepper and dip into a whisked egg mixture. Then dip chicken in popcorn and peanut mixture and set aside on a baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked and serve with some swe et and sour dipping sauce. Yum!
With our busy schedules, we find it so helpful to bring along pre-made snacks to have during the day to stave of hanger pains. These popcorn balls are packed with sweet dried fruit and protein-packed peanuts so they are sure to keep us full and satisfied in between meals. Microwave popcorn as instructed and combine with peanuts and dried fruit bits in a large bowl. In a saucepan boil water and combine with lemon juice and honey. Stir for two minutes and then pour over popcorn mixture. Stir to combine and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting and store for snacks to bring along with you all week long!
