How to Replace & Install Your Humidifying Filter on Sharp Air Purifiers
It is important to maintain and replace your Humidifying filter to ensure your air purifier operates at its optimal performance!
To replace your old Humidifying filter, first push the release button under the handle on the side of the water tank, remove and place to the side. Grip the bottom of the air purifier and pull out the Humidifying tray. Lift the Humidifying filter up and out the tray. Once removed from the air purifier, you will need to remove the old filter from the filter frame. To do this, hold the center pin on both ends, twist in opposite directions, and remove the cap and pin. Find the white side of the frame with three clips. Gently push the clips in until the cover releases and you can separate the 2 parts. Lift the old Humidifying filter out of the gray cover.
To reassemble the filter frame, insert your new Humidifying filter into the gray cover. Align the white cover with the clips on the gray cover and push down until all three clips are engaged. Insert the white pin through the center hole into the white cover side. Slide the gray cap over the white pin until it clicks into place, locking the pin together.
Once reassembled, place the new filter onto the humidifying tray support arms with the gray side facing the front of the air purifier. Fully slide the tray into the air purifier, then insert the water tank into the tray and push until it clicks into place.
