Marinated Chicken Legs Recipe

Before diving in, make sure you have all the following ingredients handy:

Ingredients

• 8 chicken drumsticks
• ¼ cup soy sauce
• 1/4 cup lager beer
• 3 tablespoons sesame oil
• 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 2 tablespoons ginger fresh, grated finely
• 2 cloves garlic chopped finely
• 2 teaspoons sriracha hot sauce optional
• 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
• 1 pound broccoli
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon olive oil or sub sesame oil

Instructions

1. 

   The SSC2489GS Cooks with Superheated Steam at Browning Temperatures, Gentle and Regular Steam, Radiant Heat & Convection.

   Add chicken legs to a large ziplock bag, or to a marinating container.

2. Add all of the marinade ingredients to the bag or container, and shake to combine well.
3. Marinade in the refrigerator for 2 hours, up to 24 hours. Partway through marinating, flip the bag or container upside down to evenly marinate the chicken.
4. Preheat the Sharp Smart Combi Built-in Wall Oven on Steam Grill.
5. Add the broccoli to a  bowl with the soy sauce and oil. Toss to coat.
6. On one of the baking trays, add the chicken legs. Bake in the Sharp Smart Combi Built-in Wall Oven for 15 minutes. Add the broccoli to the baking tray with the chicken legs, and return to the oven for another 7 minutes.

Sesame Baked Chicken Legs

A flavorful sesame marinade takes these chicken legs over the top! A simple recipe that's always a favorite.

Ingredients

• Roasted Broccoli
• 1 pound broccoli
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon olive oil or sub sesame oil

Notes

Make this soy-free by substituting ½ cup coconut aminos, and omitting the soy sauce and lager beer. Make these chicken legs gluten-free by subbing Tamari for the soy sauce. While these chicken legs will marinate in 2 hours, they are best if left to soak in the marinade overnight. Use this marinade for any chicken pieces. If using chicken thighs or wings, the cooking time will stay the same. If using chicken breasts, increase the baking time to 28-30 minutes.
