On May 11, Sharp employee volunteers from Montvale, NJ spent a full day, planting vegetables and building vegetable beds at Fresh Roots Farm. The crops at the farm are grown in partnership with the Mahwah Environmental Volunteer Organization (MEVO) to help feed local underprivileged families.
“We are happy to continuously support such a wonderful cause right in our own community,” said Susan Osgood, VP of Human Resources, SEC. “I can’t think of a better way to give back.”
Sharp employees typically help out twice a year – during planting and harvest times in the spring and fall.
